While growing up through my early 20s on the shores of Moosehead Lake in Greenville, Maine I took nature for granted. Nature was all around me yet I didn’t take the time to appreciate the extraordinary wildlife. I was to busy to truly take the time to study the finer details of a moose, deer, blue jay or any of the other many birds and animals living in the local area. This all changed in 2010 during a family trip to Cleveland, OH. The family’s itinerary including taking in 2 Yankees baseball games and visiting the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. During the second day of our vacation I bought my first Nikon camera. I knew one thing I wanted a Nikon camera and a lens to get great photos at the ball park. During the first baseball game I took 600 photos all in auto mode. My love for taking photos all started on July 27, 2010. Today I own a Nikon D500 and a Nikon D850 and my go to wildlife lens is the Nikon 500mm prime.
